Day 1, Friday Depart USA to Holland. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

Day 2, Saturday - Arrive Amsterdam Arrive and transfer to the welcome center. The remainder of the day is free at leisure to explore Amsterdam on your own. Stroll along the canals and enjoy the elegant and classic architecture of this 800-year-old capital. Tonight, enjoy a gala welcome cocktail reception followed by dinner on board

Day 3, Sunday - DTour Amsterdam, Edam & Enkhuizen This morning, cruise the canals in a glass-top boat and view historic homes, 16th century merchant houses, and charming churches with bell towers. Arrive at the Rijksmuseum to enjoy displays of famous paintings from the Dutch Golden Age. Continue on a bus tour of Amsterdam to view the Royal Palace, National Monument, Skinny Bridge, and drive by Albert Cuyp Market. Continue by bus to Volendam to rejoin ship for lunch. This afternoon drive to the enchanting village of Edam to visit one of its famous cheese factories. Continue through the Dutch countryside before returning to your ship in Enkhuizen, a charming port village with narrow cobblestone streets and fortified gates. Later this evening, cruise into the Ijssel River.


Day 4, Monday -Visit Nijmegen; Open Air Museum This morning, arrive in the Dutch town of Nijmegen, located on the Rhine's main tributary, the Waal. Enjoy time at leisure to explore on your own, or select a full day optional tour to the Open Air Museum: a magnificent park with more than 80 historic houses and farms, providing a unique view of daily life and work in the Netherlands over the past 250 years. After lunch, return to Nijmegen for a guided walking tour of the city, including Valkhof Park, the old town square, and the 13th century Gothic St. Stephen's Church . Return to the ship and spend the balance of the day cruising through Holland into Belgium

Day 5, Tuesday - Explore Antwerp This morning, enjoy a tour of Antwerp, the second-largest Belgian city, and an important historical seaport. View Rubens' House, where the great Flemish painter lived and worked for most of his life. Visit the Grote Market with its beautiful City Hall and the 16th century Church of Our Lady, considered the largest Gothic construction in the Netherlands. The afternoon is free to explore Antwerp on your own. After dinner, enjoy a special performance by local musicians.

Day 6, Wednesday - Visit Ghent and Bruges Early arrival this morning in Ghent. Enjoy the day at leisure, or join a full day optional tour to the charming towns of Bruges and medieval Ghent. Travel first to Bruges to view the Lake of Love (Minnewater) and the Beguinage convent. Enjoy a walking tour including Our Lady's Church, with the famous Madonna statue by Michelangelo, the Market Square and Belfry, and the Town Hall Square with its Chapel of the Holy Blood. Enjoy lunch in Bruges before returning to Ghent for a walking tour of this medieval city. As the Capital and largest city of the East Flanders province, Ghent features a wealth of contrasting architectural styles including Romanesque, Rococo, High-tech and Timber Frame. View the Castle of the Counts and the unfinished Church of St. Nicholas. Continue to the Cathedral of St. Bavon to view the celebrated 12-paneled Adoration of the Lamb, painted by the Van Eyck brothers.

Day 7, Thursday -Sail to Zeeland, Kinderdijk and Dordercht This morning, sail through Zeeland and enjoy a visit to one of the world's most complex engineering projects, the Delta Works: a project of thirteen dams which took over 30 years to complete used to prevent flooding. Stop in the charming city of Zierikzee for a short walking tour. Enjoy lunch on board, followed by a drive to view the 19 windmills of Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Rejoin the ship in Willemstad and sail to Schoonhoven, where you will come ashore for a short walking tour of the city. This evening, enjoy local entertainment after dinner

Day 8, Friday -Tour Schoonhoven, Keukenhof Gardens and AmsterdamThis morning, depart Schoonhoven for a drive to the Keukenhof Gardens, famous throughout the world for its dazzling fields of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. View its lakes, sculpture gardens, greenhouses, and open windmill. Late this afternoon, return to the ship in Utrecht before sailing into central Amsterdam. This evening, attend a farewell cocktail reception, followed by the Captain's farewell dinner on board

Day 9, Saturday - Depart Amsterdam This morning, disembark and transfer to the airport for your departure flight
