Take one giant leap toward the dream of being an astronaut as a crew member in the new Family Astronaut Training Experience SM at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Launching in October 2006, Family ATX offers participants an intense day of training and preparation for the rigors of spaceflight. Family members will be immersed in astronaut training, riding realistic simulators, meeting a NASA astronaut and spending time exploring Kennedy Space Center on a very special tour designed especially for Family ATX. The two day program includes hotel lodging at the Hampton Inn on Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex 12-Month Pass, special ATX logo item, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cost is $625 for one adult and one child. An additional child or adult staying in the same hotel room is $275 per person.
